If the lighting in the picture is even and uniform there will be no shadows or reflections on your face or background. To prevent this, you should also avoid wearing piercings or accessories that shine and can cause problems in the photo.

Sleeveless t-shirts or tank tops are not a good option, since it can make you look naked in the picture.

Sweaters with big necks can get your photo rejected.

Avoid wearing a white t-shirt, shirt or blouse, dark colors are recommended to contrast with the white background.

Wearing makeup is not prohibited if it does not change or hide any physical features. Makeup can be a useful tip if you respect the rules and not use it excessively. It can’t change your natural skin color, because your photo will be rejected.

Glasses with dark lenses are not allowed. Glasses are only allowed if they do not hide any facial features or give off reflections, however, it is recommended not to wear them at the time of the photo.
The use of caps, hats or scarves is not allowed. Sometimes religious accessories can be permitted as long as they don't obstruct the view of the face.
It is recommended not to use accessories in the hair and it is better to opt for simple hairstyles.
