Your photo has to be taken in good lighting that shows everything but doesn’t unnecessarily brighten the picture (natural light is recommended).
The paper on which you print has to be good photo quality. Remember you need two copies of the passport photo.
Avoid ink marks as anything that disturbs the integrity of the photograph will be a reason for application rejection.
